The research

Study - Flaxseed Omega-3 and skin appearance (British Journal of Nutrition)

A randomised, double-blind clinical study published in the British Journal of Nutrition evaluated flaxseed oil supplementation on skin hydration parameters. The study demonstrated statistically significant improvements in skin hydration measures and reduced
transepidermal water loss in the flaxseed group versus placebo over 12 weeks.
Note: this was a supplementation study and results should be considered in the
context of consumption as part of a balanced diet.
